As of 4-01-13, there are no fire bans or restrictions anticipated. However, pending weather requirements during the season, the USFS reserves the right to change their mind. We are assured they will post new regulations (as they are deemed necessary) near the entrance kiosk and other main ‘bulletin boards’ in the area.

You are encouraged to use pre-existing fire rings and remember, chopping of live trees is a FEDERAL OFFENSE.

Hard to believe someone did this. The tree is still alive, but the question is WHY??
