HASSLER'S HATBOX T O P O
HASSLER'S TOPO

.) Strained Tendons 9+ A left leaning handcrack located left and around the corner. It isn't climbed much and the slings for descent can't be guaranteed.
.) Victory of Defeat 10b Features face to offwidth with an easy traverse into the Lucille belay for descent.
.) Best of the Blues 10b An easy start to a very hard offwidth (Lucille) above.
.) Lucille 12c One big testpiece, a legendary offwidth. Bring big pro, bro! For better or worse, someone has recently ('02) placed toprope bolts above the route, and even still - aspiring offwidthers can't cut it. :-) Photo is Luebben on his second free ascent by D. Vartanian - courtesy of C. Luebben. It was cold that day.
.) Hassler's Hatbox (the route) 7 One of the best routes at its grade. It will test all your skills. Crawl slightly right through a cave at the top and belay on gear. The climber is on it in the photo.
.) Hassler's Right 9 Offwidth to wider and then goes over vertical.
.) Cat's Cradle 8+ After some wide stemming, veer right on a shelf into a classic handjammer with a hard start.
.) Cat's Claw 9+ Starts on the shelf at the beginning of the handcrack of # 7. Then a very thin traverse around to a nice hand-sized crack.
.) Roofus 11b Sustained, punishing jamming all the way. This one will test you at the grade, guaranteed.
.) Cave Crack 6 Smaller cracks inside of a big one. Actually protects well.
.) Journey to Coramonde 7 An interesting journey with a 90 degree ending. Long traverse to the right leads to a double bolt/chain belay at a big shelf. One rope rap off, but watch yourself!
