Glen Dome may be better known for its 'tourist trail' (an old Forest Service Nature Trail) than for its 2 routes. These routes are rarely climbed, but one called Water Streak is adventurous at the grade (5.7).
Seen from the paved portion of
the Box Canyon Trail, there's only two routes on
Glen Dome, the most climbed is
WATER STREAK.
* NOTE: This is the 'original Water Streak' not to be confused
with Water Streak II on Walt's Wall. It was first climbed by Glenda Gampher and Ray
Jacquot in June of 1963.).
This climb is positioned between the two
easily seen water streaks (at arrow). It is not well protected here,
and ascends into a left facing dihedral, wandering to the top
of the formation from this point.
